By selecting NxGen Media Internship Program you will find we have designed the program with YOU specifically in mind.
NxGen Media was created to not only provide you with a placement to obtain work experience and academic credit but to also contribute to the development and production of two talk shows: The Justice Beat Talk and Just-Us YOUth Talk Show.
In addition, NxGen Media has taken great care to develop opportunities to pour back into you through Pre-vocational services in preparation for your chosen career path.
Weekly Team
Debriefings
Every Friday the entire production team meets via ZOOM to discuss individual status updates on project assignments and to identify areas of collaboration as well as to receive next-steps and guidance.
Cross Project Collaboration
To prevent any feeling of operating in isolation, a teaming approach is utilized to provide support in a remote environment.
Hands-on
Group Supervision and Monitoring
In this program micro-management is not the defined approach exacted upon interns. Interns are provided a level of autonomy with the expressed intent of building confidence, sharpening independent and critical thinking skills, as well as to encourage the free-flowing exchange of ideas and creativity.
One-on-One
Consultations
Weekly One-on-One consultations are held with each intern to drill-down on specific project assignments, answer questions, and to provide individual coaching and mentoring.
Work Experience
Experiential Learning
Interns are expected to bring to the program a strong sense of self and their ability to confidently apply classroom based knowledge, skills, and abilities to a real-world setting.
Project-based

Your time in the program will be directly applied to supporting the shaping, development, and production of The Justice Beat Talk Show.
